I am currently at the SAMS (society of marine surveyors) international meeting in Nova Scotia. After some urgent family commitments that I had to attend to I arrived here and this is the rather nice view from my hotel window across Halifax harbour.
There are some interesting lectures here and I am writing this while at the same time listening to an inspiring discussion on oil samples, of which more to follow in due course.
